Our Procurement organization is structured into five core domains: Manufacturing & Supply, Marketing & Sales, Professional Services, Scientific & Medical, and Digital. These are supported by Global Procurement Operations and the Procurement Center of Excellence & Transformation.

As Regional Category Buyer Total Talent Management Services (TTM) for Europe region you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units. Core subcategories will be temporary workers, managed services, recruitment services.  

This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers. 

You will be the procurement expert in the Europe region for TTM services (meaning External Workforce) while managing all additional procurement categories of the professional services domain in Europe & France when required:

Real Estate and Workplace Services (Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation).Human Resource Services (Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing).Corporate Services (Travel, Consulting, insurance, Legal & Financial services).

The overall spend under his/her supervision is about +85M€ spend/year.

This position part of Professional Services (PS) Domain, will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for France & Europe Region.

Main responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Strategic Execution: Support the Global Lead Buyer or Regional Category Manager in executing category strategies and achieving savings targets.Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions to generate actionable insights and optimize procurement processes.Procurement Leadership: Manage RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations to deliver value and ensure alignment with business needs.Project Management: Lead or contribute to local projects, reporting on progress, savings, performance, and risks.Supplier Management: Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs, ensuring collaboration and adherence to best practices.Compliance Oversight: Ensure procurement processes comply with Risk, CSR, and other policies, addressing non-compliance and supporting audits and crisis management.Industry Insights: Stay informed on trends, benchmark against best practices, and apply innovative solutions to enhance procurement strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, fostering collaboration and alignment with procurement strategies.Present procurement plans and strategies to key stakeholders for input and alignment with business objectives.

About you

Experience:

6–10+ years of experience in Procurement or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multi-cultural environments.
 

Key Skills:

Procurement Expertise: Deep understanding of best-in-class sourcing techniques and processes.Analytical Proficiency: Strong skills in tools like PowerBI, advanced Excel, and Thinkcell to support data-driven decision-making.Adaptability: Quick to learn new skills and adapt to different processes, environments, and ways of working.Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance long-term priorities with immediate operational challenges.Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management and team collaboration skills to deliver successful outcomes.Innovation & Problem-Solving: Creativity to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions.Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and decision-making capabilities.
 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s degree preferred).

Languages:

Fluent in English (required).Proficiency in German, French or other European languages is a plus.
