Arla is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Demand Planning Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring operational and financial success for the organization. This position is a temporary contract until December 31st 2025, with the possibility of a permanent employment thereafter.
How you will make an impact
You will be one of Demand Planning team of 7 specialists in Sweden. You are responsible for developing the sales forecasts for Arla and presenting demand to stakeholders as well as management committee in Monthly S&OP process. You will govern IBP (SAP Integrated Business Planning for Demand Planning ) and leverage automation as essential resources to create statistical forecasts by comprehending category development, consumer trends and understanding implications of changed behaviours or unpredicted event. You will identify risks and trade-offs against the business objectives by using statistical forecasting models in and deliver a scenario planning to evaluate how proposed plans may impact the business. You will play a strategic role and provide analytical supports to stakeholders to make right decision to achieve business goals & objectives.
Ensure Forecasts Accuracy and Bias through the piloting of S&OP process Secure forecast consistency, through a consensus between the commercial trend & forecast, category growth ambition and the financial KPIs Be a change agent and participate demand excellence project to reinforce exceptional based planning .
What will make you successful
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education You have +2 years previous experience within a similar position and preferably FMCG Knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) or IBP (SAP Integrated Business Planning) is preferred You are an advanced excel user You have an intermediate to advanced level competency in MS Power BI Experience in MS power automate, or robotic process automation are merit Knowledge of statistical and mathematical computer programs and modeling techniques preferred
