What you'll do…

Lead sourcing efforts to meet cost and timing targets, working with Product Development on forward model cost objectives. Co-lead and develop commodity strategies with Product Development. Understand upcoming program sourcing needs and key milestones to ensure a smooth transition into production. Drive best cost at Job 1 (J1) through sourcing strategies, design changes, and supplier negotiations. Conduct market tests and design competitions to ensure competitive pricing. Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring cost transparency and long-term partnerships. Support workshops and stakeholder meetings to improve processes and enhance supply chain efficiencies. Partner with engineering to identify alternative suppliers and technologies to maintain production flow. Resolve quality and logistics challenges to ensure seamless operations.
