Job Purpose To facilitate the business in ensuring product “sell out” from the channel by providing the requisite channel initiatives including in-store branding, shop boards, promotional material, and other channel-related initiatives. Key Accountabilities To assist in developing and implementing the channel strategy and plan aimed at consolidating and developing the retail network. Work closely with the Sales function and third-party agencies to ensure the development and timely execution of channel modernization including in-store branding and shop boards. To closely monitor competitors’ marketing and sales activities and recommend possible countermeasures to neutralize any adverse effects on AkzoNobel Pakistan. Seek CAPEX budgets after alignment with finance and submission of feasibility working for increase Instore initiatives Liaise and coordinate with multiple vendors to execute shop fascia visibility drive across Pakistan. Liaise with marketing for the selection of site and vendor for OOH. To negotiate visibility taxation to a minimum via 3rd party vendors with all of the contractors across Pakistan. Ensure timely and accurate business reporting of Key Performance Indicators of channel health. Provide merchandising support to the sales team. Spend time in the market for self and competitor analysis. Experience 2 to 5 years of relevant experience Strong negotiation skills Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English Demonstrated leadership, team skills, and multifunctional skill base Education At least BBA/BSc from a reputable institute
