The Category Insights Analyst has a passion for data-driven insight and customer partnerships, helping to build compelling category sales stories that drive alignment with Kroger and Albertsons to generate mutual growth opportunities. The role is highly collaborative, providing support across all Sanofi’s categories and working closely with other members of the Category Management team, the Account Management team, Sales Strategy, and the broader Commercial Strategy team. Remote work is available for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

Leveraging syndicated data to deliver weekly and monthly reporting dashboards, maintaining and evolving the dashboards as needed over time.Delivery of weekly POS reporting with supporting insightTracking business trends and impact of changes to Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving activities to identify issues and opportunities.Lead development of line review content for all categories, in partnership with National Account Manager and Sales StrategyDevelopment of selling presentation content for the sales team, from a category perspectiveDevelopment of data-driven insight-based recommendations by leveraging retailer, syndicated consumption data, loyalty data & consumer panel dataDevelopment of customer-specific Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving (AMPS) recommendationsProviding Sales Team with analytical support to develop insights into category issues and opportunities.Bring creative thinking and a solution mindset to the team, proactively identifying opportunities for growth.Leveraging Assortment Management tools to conduct assortment analysis by category and brand.Builds planograms and analyses shelving opportunities, leveraging virtual reality software.Partner across the Category Management team to share best practices and learnings.Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

About You

Minimum of 1-3 years of proven delivery in CPG, preferably within OTC/Healthcare/Personal Care.Strong business acumen; comfortable in analytics and highly proficient in Excel and PowerpointExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential solutions and communicate them effectivelyExperience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data, customer loyalty data and consumer panel data, with the ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actionable insightsFood Channel experience preferredAbility to bring outstanding interpersonal skills (including excellent oral and written communication), strong problem-solving skills to any discussion with colleagues and/or customersYou are a learner - always seeking to improve yourself, your team, and the world around youYou thrive on direct, honest, and supportive communicationYou are always thinking about how to help the teammates around you excelExtremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environmentB.A./B.S. required
