POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Category Manager - HVAC will be responsible for managing and ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC systems across all retail locations. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for our customers and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for HVAC systems across all retail locations.Oversee and manage the performance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.Coordinate with external service providers and vendors to schedule and oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Monitor and analyze HVAC system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations related to HVAC maintenance.Develop and manage the HVAC maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.Conduct site visits to assess the condition of HVAC systems and oversee maintenance activities.Collaborate with store managers and other stakeholders to address HVAC-related issues and ensure minimal disruption to store operations.Maintain accurate records of all HVAC maintenance activities, including service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC maintenance.Develop and implement a strategic maintenance plan that aligns with the company’s long term goals and objectives. Create a 3-year outlook on the life cycle for all maintenance equipment, identifying key milestones, potential risk, and necessary interventions.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDOffice Location: Base Camp - Springfield, MOEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's DegreePreferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field (preferred)Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid HVAC certification and licenses (preferred)Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance management, preferably within a retail environment.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Proven experience in managing maintenance projects and coordinating with external service providers.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations related to HVAC maintenance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel as needed to retail locations across the US and Canada.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
