Danfoss Electrical Heating (DEVI) is currently hiring for a Category Manager. The Category Manager controls the spend for DEVI for various commodities including plastics and copper raw materials, cables and packaging.

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
In this role you will develop and execute strategies, take projects lead and participations. You will secure the needed agreements with our suppliers.
• Responsible for the direct spend to our Grodzisk factory
• Develop and implement supplier strategies
• Lead value-based negotiations with suppliers.
• Lead resourcing projects and participate in technical projects as procurement representative.
• Manage escalated supplier topics including, performance, capacity and risk management.
• Ensure compliance for contract and certifications
• Understand DEVI’s business needs and manage stakeholders’ expectations.
• 5-10 days of travel yearly may be expected (primarily in Europe)
We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual with proven experience in an international business environment. Fluency in either Danish or Polish is essential.
Required (basic) qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Supplier Management
• Proven track record in leading projects and conducting supplier strategies
This role requires a highly organized individual capable of prioritizing tasks to effectively manage multiple suppliers. Success demands strong data analysis skills for effective negotiations, excellent written and verbal communication in English, and a strategic mindset with a proven ability to execute plans.
