Global Procurement in Danfoss Sensing Solutions is looking for an experienced and self-driven Category Manager with a strategic mindset to join our team in Wuqing.

You will be part of a global team with locations also in Europe and Mexico.

As our new Category Manager you will be entrusted with the responsibility for managing a selected number of suppliers. You will mainly be handling electrical and electro-mechanical categories.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following

Accelerate cost-down impact from suppliers driving and executing a sustainable savings pipeline across all levers while utilizing cross-functional teams. Develop and implement supplier strategies for all suppliers responsible. Develop global category strategies. Execute value-based negotiations with suppliers annually independently or in cooperation with CPC. Manage escalated supplier topics including, performance, capacity and risk management. Ensure compliance for contract and certifications for suppliers under your responsibility. Support and run SEN change projects Support the Danfoss decarbonization ambition – 25% reduction of upstream carbon footprint. Experience working in a matrixed organization and manage stakeholders’ expectations.  Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

5+ years experience of category management in direct category management, preferably within electrical / electromechanics categories. Must have solid category management experience from an international company. An engineering background at bachelor’s degree Ability to evaluate open book model and a good sense of cost competitiveness. English advanced 3-5 years experience of  Sourcing Projects (execution and implementation) using Milestones methodology for approval including but not limited to: RFQ process (considering TCO), Suppliers Benchmark, PPAP process coordination, Pilot Run, customer requirements, phase in/out and Ramp up follow up.  Employee Benefits
