What You Will Do
Responsible to manage and make critical decisions on all aspects of supplier relationship including contracts, commercial/pricing, supply assurance and conflict resolutionDevelop and execute sub-category strategies through alignment with Harman International global category lead, Business Units, engineering, quality, manufacturing activitiesCoordination of engagement between procurement, supply chain functions and senior stake holdersThis person will be an escalation/communication point for Harman International and the supply partnerResponsible for developing supplier selection in support of winning new businessDriving make Vs buy processIdentification, establishment and development of new suppliers, supplier relationship management, supplier portfolio management and supplier performance evaluation Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of negotiations & annual global price negotiationsIdentification, implementation and documentation of cost reduction potentialEstablish goals, improvement plans, business reviews and monthly reporting related to areas of responsibilityTimely coordination of procurement processes to ensure supply, cost and qualityChange-Management and SAP master data maintenanceObservation of global procurement marketsWhat You Need
University degree in Engineering or Business AdministrationMinimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience preferably in the areas of eitherProcurement or program sourcing experience, engineering, quality, or product developmentExperience in procurement of electronic components is a great benefitHigh level of commitment, strong self-motivation and goal orientationNegotiation and relationship building skillsIn-depth product knowledge in electronics, semiconductors is desiredStrong communication & presentation skillsExperience in international working environment with multicultural teamsFluent Chinese and English skillsStrong on data statisticical analysis by Excel or othersWhat is Nice to Have
German skills highly preferredSemiconductors or Electronics product sourcing backgroundGlobal mindsetWhat Makes You Eligible
