Category Manager 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develop category portfolio architecture and growth strategy and define each role of new product by looking at the global category trends and local consumer needs to ensure leadership in the category Develop and evolve the brands and go to market strategies. Embodying the brand value and at the same time work towards complementing different consumer needs and optimizing strength and synergy to ensure the long term brand equity building and superiority. Co-work with customer team and customer marketing colleagues to analyze category dynamics and find new opportunities. Build business case with strategic assumptions, develop and communicate strategic plan and roadmap to key stakeholders and decision boards to align with key stakeholders Develop launch plans together with customer teams and technical teams to ensure a successful landing of the project and closely monitor the post-launch progress to better guide future pipeline Analyzebusiness opportunities and problems through different sources of information including internal sales data, market research reports, competitive information, market visit observation, financial P&L etc.Manage project through the whole process of the innovation from feasibility contract, development contract and etc. Identify key roadblocks and obstacles and propose and drive solutions to ensure product delivery Define project development milestones and prepare concise, meaningful and up to date project documentation

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bachelor degree or above, Marketing or Business related majors preferred 3-4 years marketing or new product development experience in FMCG/OTC/Healthcare industry Good commercial acumen and strategic insight to identify business opportunities, understands consumer needs, behaviors, motivational drivers Strong capability in strategic thinking/planning Be able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to change perception or obtain commitment Be independence, accountability and self-drive Creative problem solver and innovative with strong ideas
