As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing a specific group of products and/or services within our organization. Your primary goal will be to optimize product/service sourcing strategies, pricing, risk management, and business continuity which is compliant with Global and regional jurisdictional requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, operations, technical maintenance, asset integrity, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that your category offerings meet operational needs and market trends.
Your role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive savings and quality. You will manage product assortment, pricing strategies, and activities to ensure the category's success. Additionally, you will handle vendor management, stakeholder management, and contract management, including initiating, implementing, and executing contracts. You will serve as a functional business partner to stakeholders and act as a Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned categories.

Profile:
Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred or equivalent business experienceExperience within Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Category ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication English skillsAbility to collaborate up, down, and laterallyProject Management skills with experience in running global strategic sourcing projects with a track record of cost savingsProfessional Stakeholder management skills with experience in finding the right balance between challenging and supporting key stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with the ability to locate, interpret and analyze data with sources such as with Excel, ERP extracts (SQL), Power BI etc.Adaptability to changing demands and prioritiesResponsibilities:
Managing and support the activities related to Category Management together with Key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunitiesDeveloping specific Category Management strategies which are sensitive to operational needs, customer requirements, regulatory issues, and market opportunitiesLeading and managing global sourcing to contract projects in an organization under constant changeManaging your own Indirect and Direct categories with the responsibility of developing and implementing global category management strategiesIdentifying and implementing cost initiatives with focus on stakeholder satisfaction while challenging the status quoSupporting the day-to-day activities ensuring the value of category management is visible to all stakeholders (contract management, first point of contact, coordination of activities, vendor management, escalation to suppliers etc.Category management and strategies for assigned procurement categoryCoordination with Contract ManagerSupplier Relationship Management for Level 1 suppliers in categoryStakeholder Management for relevant categoriesContract creation and management for relevant categoriesAccountable for performance and results of the assigned categoryWhat we offer
