Position Summary

Edgewell Personal Care is looking for a dynamic and energetic procurement professional to join our Global Marketing Procurement team! This position manages significant spend within the Category of Raw Materials and Chemicals. This position focuses on the strategic aspects of Procurement, and will suppot EPC's various divisional lines of business including Suncare, Skincare, Grooming and Shave..

 

This position will have a hybrid schedule of Tuesdays and Wednesdays at any of our office locations (Milford, CT or Allendale, NJ preferred)

 

Specific Accountabilities

In collaboration with business units and geographies, develop and implement category strategies for assigned commodities and spend Conduct detailed supply market analysis and create category profiles Lead Strategic Sourcing and supplier evaluation across S2P cycle utilizing the COE/category interplay model Drive supplier negotiations, contract and MSA execution Deliver to annual CIP targets   Actively manage commodity / regional spend along with the supply base and internal relationships that come with assigned segmentation Monitor price / PPV / LE forecasting in the business financial process Supports new product development activity and innovation stream   Engage across different time zones interface with peer groups in different parts of the world Understand and comply with regulatory bodies and programs  Maintain and establish key performance Metrics SRM – Supplier Relationship Management IRM – Internal Stakeholder Relationship Budget / planning / financial tracking / analytics  Act as a Change Agent, facilitating and lead cross functional teams  Support all Procurement Initiatives as assigned

 

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering (or other related degree programs) 5+ years of raw materials category management experience in Sourcing, Procurement consulting and or Operations In-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes, organization, and technologies (7 step strategic sourcing process, Total Cost model, RFP/RFQ process) Demonstrated knowledge of relevant IT systems including:  ERP, Spend Analytics and Contract Management System / SAP / Ariba interfaces Experience in management of direct report(s) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with strong influencing skills Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision Strong business acumen Ability to interface at all levels of the organization in different parts of the world Strong Excel skills, financial and statistical analysis Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SAP and Ariba Track record of consistent Cost Savings / CI contribution Build strong internal relationships across multiple departments and across multiple levels (Marketing, Operations, R&D, Regulatory,  IT, Legal, etc.) Contract execution and management; Business Law knowledge a plus

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

CPIM or CSCMP certifications Six Sigma or Lean/Kaizen Consumer Products Industry ERP/ SAP / Ariba User  7 Step Sourcing Model

 

Working Relationships

Reports directly to the Global Director, Procurement and Procurement and Operations management   External suppliers and their organizations Applicable trade organizations   

 

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
