The Category Manager & Presentation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development, performance, and management of the Packaged Salad Category within the organization while being able to create and deliver visually engaging and effective presentations for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires the ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to maximize profitability and growth within the Packaged Salad category. The Category Manager will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to drive sales, optimize product assortments while producing high-quality presentations that communicate key messages and support business objectives.


Specifically, You Will:

Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with business goals and consumer demandsAnalyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and product trendsProvide regular reports on category performance, market insights, and competitor activities to key stakeholdersDesign and develop presentations (PowerPoint, etc.) that clearly convey complex information in an engaging and accessible mannerCreate visually appealing templates, layouts, and graphics to ensure consistency across all presentation materialsUtilize design and content strategy to tell a compelling story that resonates with the intended audienceEnsure all presentations adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a professional and cohesive appearance
 

The Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of experience in category management or related rolesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and have experience with category management POS/Panel software/tools (e.g. Nielsen, Numerator, etc )Strong business acumen and understanding of retail dynamicsAbility to work cross-functionally and influence diverse stakeholder groupsStrong design skills with an eye for detail and creative problem-solvingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesExperience in corporate presentations, client-facing meetings, or public speaking is a plusEmbodies BrightFarms ' CORE values of Commitment, Openness, Results Driven and EmpowermentAbility to travel +/- 10 %
