The Headlines:
This position reports to the Procurement Director – Co-Man and is a corporate office role. This key role on the North America Commercial Procurement team will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, supplier relationship management and supporting the AmCom and Supply Chain organizations engaging in non-traditional routes to market. Categories include broadline distribution agreements, 1st Party and 3rd Party distribution model contracts as growing channels for Molson Coors Beverage Company to sell its Non Alc products in new retail marketplace, (e.g. outside direct to Molson Coors beer wholesaler).
The ideal candidate for this role brings a passion for team leadership, business partnership and creative problem solving. This role requires a high level of expertise in contractual terms & agreements with external vendors, strategic sourcing principles, the procure-to-pay process and the ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders in order to meet the complex needs of the business.
The Responsibilities:
Strategy lead for Route to Market category of spend and corresponding sourcing stage gates. Role will drive Annual Operating Plan / Long Range Planning process for Total Procured Financial Value Responsible for supply continuity and escalation for service, quality, contractual issues Support key customer and distribution partner negotiations, conduct sourcing events Enable transformative RTM onboarding projects and simplified ways of working for commercial. Responsible to deliver cost savings, cost avoidance and other measures of financial value Oversee 1-3 tier 1 Suppliers, multiple tier 2, and est. 50+ contracts and $5-$10M in TPFV savings
The Other Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant experience in Procurement Bachelor’s Degree in related field Experience building a category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and contract negotiation skills Experience in RTM beverage distribution and fast moving sales channels in multi-national environment Experience in beverage or fast-moving consumer goods in a multi-national environment preferred
