**DESCRIPTION** You will be responsible for the **Space Management team's ownership of quality merchandising** (e. g. shelf) initiatives based on **Sam’s Fresh** internal timelines and prioritization of needs. You will **manage** insights data, historical learnings and research to provide forward thinking support of Fresh strategies. Manage all of Acosta’s **Space Management team tied to Fresh team objectives** annually. You will be the main contact to the **retailer’s leadership and space planning teams** and focus on **managing the Space Management team** to ensure all program objectives, strategies, and plans are delivered on-time with no business disruption. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + **Manage space management** and section merchandising, including analyzing financial data and providing space-related insights at both the account and market levels of 9 direct reports. + **System** **Tools** (experience preferred): **JDA/Blue Yonder or Shelf IQ & Apollo and Madrid.** + **Develop and maintain client-specific reports that measure performance against strategies and objectives.** + **Develop** and ensure that **POGs** meet the Customer’s and Client’s **visual standards.** + Maintain and update all **POGs** for assigned categories and customers + Responsible for **quality control of data sources** and ensuring **accuracy of deliverables** , often requiring engagement with other BI associates and data/tool vendors. + **Attend meetings** with clients to discuss client needs and upcoming projects. **QUALIFICATIONS** 1. Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent and 5 - 7 years relative experience in a **Space Management** related position or Space technology-based solution with the top retailer. 2. Proven proficiency in **JDA (Space Planning** ), Windows, Excel, and related software and retail functions. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting a professional image. 4. 3+ years of experience in **planogram** **development** within a tier 1 retailer, including the line review process. 5. Experience **managing diverse teams** , fostering training and career development. 6. Familiarity with POS sales data and platforms like IRI/Nielsen. 7. Strong multitasking abilities, meeting deadlines while motivating the team under pressure. 8. Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively. 9.
