Procurement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global Category Manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Each day, you will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. Deliver SCM KPIs including but not limited to, cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality and sustainable supply chainWork closely with business line project team to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and lead execution to meet business requirements Lead new supplier development and audit for tendering projects, and connect with project team to set up supplier pool; optimize supplier base and select best fit suppliers for quotation and improve bidding win rate Responsible for supplier quality, lead quality audit, FAT and inspection as required; resolve supplier quality issues for specific project; manage supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement. Responsible for SCM compliance and ensure all sourcing activities are in compliance with company policy ad functional guideline and processes. Support project execution, work closely with suppliers and project team to ensure on time delivery based on customer requirementsLeverage suppliers to support service requirements

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing related field and 5+ years experienced in manufacturing procurement, supply chain or project management with multinational companiesExperienced in power transmission and distribution industry, familiar with LV/MV products, digital & IoT technologies, modular systems solution(eHouse/eStorage)Excellent communication skills in a matrix organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment, ability to manage complex projects Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy and implement innovative solutions.Self-motivated, results driven, demonstrated leadership, and ability to take initiatives Proficiency in offices, ERP and analytics is requiredFluent in EnglishTravel is required
