From day one, you'll receive some of the highest compensation rates in the industry, free access to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Employee housing, free activities, 40% retail discounts, the chance to grow through Epic Service - our leading training and development program, and wellness benefits to fuel your success.​ The Catering & Conference Services Coordinator works with clients and staff to assist in planning and running all group functions at Jackson Lake Lodge (and occasionally offsite), and helps to sell weddings and social events. **Job Specifications:**   + Outlets:  Jackson Lake Lodge + To learn more about our locations – visit Teton Employee - Our Properties (https://www.tetonemployee.com/living-here/our-properties) + Starting Wage: $18.25 / hour + Skill Level: _Entry, Intermediate_ **The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:** + Assisting in all aspects of planning and executing group functions + Fielding incoming calls and responding to event inquiries, conducting appropriate follow up + Coordinating, attending, and/or conducting planning meetings and site visits, and working closely with clients and staff to ensure event details are in order + Creating, maintaining and disseminating banquet event orders, group resumes, and other documentation + Serving as primary contact for coordination and execution of all internal meetings, as well as banquet-only events, tour dinners and some small meeting programs + Attending and monitoring functions to ensure they are running as planned, assisting where needed **The right candidate for this role will have the following minimum requirements:** + 4-year college degree or equivalent additional experience + 1-2 years catering, meetings/conventions or F&B experience, preferably in a hotel or conference center + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite + Ability to speak, read and write English fluently, with strong oral and written communications skills + Basic understanding of hotel, food and beverage and banquet operations + Positive attitude and exceptional guest service skills to support both internal and external customers + Well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently + Flexible, versatile and a fast learner, able to adapt quickly and maintain calm in a fast paced environment + Comfortable working with internal and external guests, clients, media, partners, and associates at all levels + Must present a well-groomed appearance and professional manner; professional phone and email etiquette + Able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures; Note: this position regularly requires evening, weekend and holiday hours + Valid driver’s license and a vehicle (or ability to obtain a satisfactory motor vehicle report) **The following skills/experience are helpful but not required: ** + Food & beverage event planning and coordination and general wine knowledge + Knowledge of Delphi and/or V1 + Interpretive knowledge of Grand Teton National Park **_What’s In It For You?_** + _FREE Housing (including linens and all utilities) or Full Hook-Up RV Sites_ + _FREE WiFi (where available)_ + _FREE National Park Pass to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park_ + _FREE Participation in guest activities: Horseback rides, kayak and boat rentals, lake cruises & scenic raft tours, 200 miles of hiking trails and THE greatest perk ever – living in one of the most picturesque national parks!_ + _FREE Recreation Program and complimentary use of Rec Halls, Employee Gyms (Climbing Wall at JLL) and watersports equipment._ + _$105/week_ _Meal Plan covers 3 meals/day in the employee cafeteria_ Before you apply, visit http://www.TetonEmployee.com for detailed information about housing and other information you will find helpful.
