Job Description:Are you passionate about cooking and love the excitement of large-scale events? AriensCo Hospitality is looking for an experienced Catering Cook to join our team!
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our events, preparing, cooking, and presenting delicious food for weddings, conferences, parties, and more. Your culinary skills will help create memorable experiences for our guests.
THE DAY TO DAY...
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking. This will often involve washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing these ingredients
Use various kitchen equipment including ovens, broilers, grills, slicers, and blenders to prepare dishes
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. This may involve cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and cooking surfaces
Help in setting up the banquet hall, including the arrangement for food, silverware, and plateware
Manage the storage and rotation of food supplies per safety standards
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and professional-grade kitchen equipment required
Previous culinary experience preferred
Understanding of health and sanitation regulations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good interpersonal skills to work as a team member
