The Opportunity:

The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for an Catering Coordinator. This administrative position is clerical in nature and support oriented. It’s the first step towards a Event Sales management career.  The Catering Coordinator or Administrative Assistant supports the Director of Catering in a variety of ways that are critically important to successfully securing business as well as meeting the needs of the hotel’s clients.

Compensation:

$28.98 per hour

Qualifications:

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is preferred.

• One to two years of previous experience directly related to hotel catering or conference services.

• Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural   and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.  Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

• Ability to use Delphi preferred.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage several demanding tasks in a consistently busy environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask. High level of creativity.

• Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology – preferred.

• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
