The Catering Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Group Service Managers and Director(s) while being familiar with all aspects of the catering planning process and group services organization. The Catering Coordinator will assist in the organizing of groups and act as a liaison with the hotels Department and Division Heads in planning internal Four Seasons meetings.
What you will do
Responsible for catering reporting, creating estimated charges, preparing attrition forms, and coordinating load in and load out production for event partners.
Prepares accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, banquet event orders, schedule of events, printed menus, and e-mails using MS Word, Delphi, and One Notes.
Maintains Delphi accounts, including traces, creating and updating bookings, prepares Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes.
Attends Group Resume and BEO meetings responsible for detailed note taking and follow up revisions.
What you bring
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in catering, event planning, or a relevant role within a luxury hotel or event planning company.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in catering management software (e.g. Golden Sales and Catering, Delphi) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event management, or related field preferred
Proven track record of successfully coordinating and executing events of various sizes, from small gatherings to large-scale functions
Familiarity with BEO (Banquet Event Order) creation, group resumes, and catering reports
Certification in Event Planning (e.g., CMP, CSEP) is a plus
Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate:
