The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for building, implementing and auditing programmatic and operational systems across the Flex Program. Your daily responsibilities range from project management to hosting or participating in meetings, analyzing operational trends to identify areas of improvement or reporting on progress. You will also motivate, train, develop and direct team members to deliver exceptional service and achieve daily goals and projects. The great things you will do + Manage workplace and food safety, including allergen management + Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to: + Create project charters, decks, operational playbooks, and activation guides. + Build out timelines, track budgets, report out milestones, key dates, and coordinate across teams + Summarize forward progress, call out hurdles blocking progress, and propose solutions to remove hurdles for the leadership team to consider + Responsible for coordination and effective communication across stakeholders for shared successful launches of projects and deployments. Specific tasks including but not limited to: + Lead informational session meetings, training managers, information gathering, research and coordination of deployment efforts + Build and maintain systems, processes, and tools used within the organization as it pertains to their workstreams (program optimization, program development/design) + Collect, analyze and suggest action based on trends in performance data + Schedule and attend meetings as needed to meet above stated duties + Use software platforms to perform tasks (GSuite, CrunchTime, Asana, etc.) What we look for in a candidate + Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety + Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience + Has a minimum of 4 years food service operation supervision experience + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal + General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures + Proficient in computer and technical skills, working knowledge of Google Suite tools, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Managing in a Union Environment is a plus + ServSafe Certification Associates at Bon Appétit are offered many fantastic benefits.
