Key Responsibilities + Actively pursue and close sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings for high-end events. + Build and maintain strong relationships with discerning clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. + Supervise the planning and execution of both internal and external catering events, ensuring every detail is perfect. + Create compelling proposals and banquet event orders that highlight our exceptional offerings. + Prepare and monitor budgets, set ambitious financial targets, and ensure profitability. + Recruit, train, and mentor managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. + Cultivate relationships with premium vendors to enhance event quality and client satisfaction. + Ensure all events adhere to safety and sanitation standards in line with HACCP guidelines. + Take on additional duties and special projects as needed to drive business growth. Preferred Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. + Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. + Deep knowledge of current food trends and fine dining service standards. + 3-5 years in the hospitality industry, including 2 years in catering sales. + Strong ability to supervise, schedule, train, and mentor team members. + Exceptional ability to assess and fulfill client requirements. + Skilled in collaborating with chefs to create bespoke menu proposals. + Competence in supervising food preparation, service, and clean-up. + Familiarity with A/V equipment setup and breakdown for events. + Outstanding quantitative, oral, and written communication skills. + Superior leadership and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail. + Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. + A proactive mindset with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations. + Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior. + Exceptional abilities in client relations and customer service.
