The _Cath Lab Tech I operates radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures._ Exhibits a strong knowledge base of cardiovascular diseases and is able to interpret date gathered during procedures and recognize potential implications in patient care or complications **The Woodlands Hospital** is a 245 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around The Woodlands, Texas. If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. **Must live within 30 minutes of hospital for emergency response On-call 8-9 days every five weeks which includes one weekend shift** **Responsibilities** + Operates physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms + Operates manifold, power injector, and other support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, andtransport monitors) + Anticipates physician needs by being knowledgeable of: 1. procedures performed in the department and 2. equipment (catheters,guide wires, etc.) necessary for procedures. + Sets up sterile trays and is able to assist physicians during procedures, utilizing septic technique. **Qualifications** Required: + Associate's Degree -OR- Registered as a Radiologic TechnologistRadiography (RTR) , Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist(RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) + BSL with the Americian Heart Association + ACLS within six (6) months of hire Preferred experience: Minimum one (1) year clinical experience in a hospital setting **Pay Range** $29.16 - $42.28 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
