Cath Lab Technologist II

As our Cath Lab Tech II you will Operates various types of physiological monitoring equipment within the lab. Scrubs at tableside. Operates Radiological Radiographic Equipment.

Everyday you will be expected to demonstrated competency in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath's, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Be knowledgeable in the operation of Physiological Monitoring system for diagnostic and interventional studies.Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data, documents events, and calculates valve areas. Able to take Scrub Call Independently and assist Physician's in acute MI and Stroke procedures on unstable patients. Be knowledgeable of Intravascular Ultrasound theory and application.. Knowledgeable of Thrombectomy procedures, including preparation and deployment.Participates in facilitating the operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab including transporting and transferring patients, cleaning rooms, communicating accurately and promptly.
Qualifications

Required Education:

Associates Degree

Required Experience:

CVTor RT or ACLS with experience scrubbing CCL proceduresMust be able to take call and return to hospital within 30 minutes.
