Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CATIA V6 Composite Design Engineer with expertise in sandwich composite materials to join our automotive design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of lightweight, high-performance components for next-generation vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop composite sandwich structures using CATIA V6.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate composite solutions into vehicle design.Perform feasibility studies and optimize material selection for performance and cost.Generate 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed documentation.Conduct structural analysis in collaboration with CAE teams.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Support manufacturing teams in tooling and production processes.

QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in CATIA V6 with experience in composite material design.Strong understanding of sandwich composite structures and their application in automotive engineering.Experience with manufacturing processes such as RTM, prepreg, and infusion.Knowledge of structural analysis and FEA tools is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the automotive or motorsport industry.Familiarity with GD&T and PLM systems.Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.
