The Manufacturing Solutions group within The Test Equipment Engineering directorate is seeking an onsite CCA Manufacturing Engineer in Tucson, Arizona to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment, specifically Circuit Card Assemblies and Printed Wiring Boards.
The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, procure, manage, and resolve issues related to the design and manufacturing of CCAs and PWBs based on a broad knowledge of their design and fabrication. The Manufacturing Engineer will utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.

Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of CCAs/PWBsParticipate in CCA/PWB engineering design reviewsManage and maintain build configuration and quality history recordsAcquire, track, manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test setsResolve complex manufacturing issues and oversee delivery of final products to internal/external customersQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment areaExperience interpreting CCA/PWB engineering drawings/schematicsExperience with CCA/PWB design and manufacturing processExperience creating Technical Data Packages for manufacturingThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
Experience interfacing with suppliers/vendors for quoting and issue resolutionKnowledge of IPC and J-StandardsKnowledge of CCA component substitution/equivalent alternate partsKnowledge of cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures, Interface Test Adapter (ITA), and final assembly and inspection of completed test systemsExperience working in an engineering environment focused on CCA/PWB test equipment or prototype engineering hardwareExperience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issuesOrganizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teaming environment.Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with and take direction from Project Managers from multiple programsWhat We Offer

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
