Chief Commercial Officer – Global Broking Centre (GBC) Construction & Infrastructure (C&I) We’re hiring! Aon are currently recruiting a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our Construction & Infrastructure team in the UK. The CCO will be primarily responsible to identify, quantify, and prioritise growth opportunities and to build a growth plan for C&I in respect of new client acquisition. The CCO sets and drives growth priorities, results and objectives for C&I. The CCO also drives, implements and leads performance of wider growth strategies across C&I to deliver revenue and contribution targets with a strong focus on new client acquisition. About the Role As Chief Commercial Officer for C&I you will: + Work with the Business Units, Cross Solution Line CCO and Growth planning team to identify, quantify, and prioritise growth opportunities and to build a growth plan for C&I in respect of new client acquisition – driven by data and analytics. Set and drive C&I priorities, results and objectives for cross Solution Line CCO and growth ops community. + Drive, implement and lead performance of wider growth strategies across C&I to deliver revenue and contribution targets with a strong focus on new client acquisition. + Initiate and develop relationships at all levels with prospective clients, set high standards and lead from the front on growth initiatives. + Support the Business Leader in creating and driving a talent, recognition and reward strategy that drives performance. + Seek client feedback to continually improve win rate and proposition, creating quality and peer review, coaching and feedback loop to supporting colleagues. + Drive execution of the marketing, tailored Aon proposition (inc’ Industry) and bid management global standards including shaping / providing oversight of delivery of the marketing, industry and bid/project management requirements for the GBC. Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Your knowledge and expertise: + Deep understanding of, trends, macroeconomic factors, and implications for C&I supporting understanding of client business and risk issues + Creative, innovative problem solver able to translate strategic concepts into solid business executable growth opportunities and leverage competitive intelligence to develop and adjust strategies. + Authoritative knowledge of industry/market trends and all C&I offerings and capabilities to help develop new innovative solutions and geographic growth plans + Consistent track record of increasing sales, developing a sales region, and leading sales teams with positive results + Experience of successful business development and representing the firm to large complex clients + Builds inclusive and diverse teams.
