CCP Container Coordinator (9) Requisition ID **9** - Posted - **WO-WO WIPP Ops & National TRU Prgrm** - **Richland, WA, US - Hanford Site** - **Logistics**  **Overview** **Be part of the nation’s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste.** Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO), managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a **_Central Characterization Program (CCP) Container Coordinator_** and join our team at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. This is a full-time, on-site position. **Responsibilities** The successful candidate will obtain qualification as Central Characterization Program (CCP) Container Coordinator and will coordinate container feedstock between the Host Site and CCP characterization activities. Responsible for maintaining the inventory utilizing several data bases. Inspects containers in accordance with CCP procedures prior to containers being introduced into CCP characterization processes. Maintains production reports and tracks the status of containers through the CCP characterization process. Participates in internal and external assessments as required. Assists the CCP Vendor Project Manager with other administrative and record keeping duties as required. **Minimum Requirements** _These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and completed applications are the means of determination._ + Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or + Associate’s degree with four (4) years of professional experience, or + High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of professional experience is required. _Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances.
