Description Work hard, have fun and make history by joining Amazon’s Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) technology team! This team owns product and technology efforts across Amazon’s CCR organization, ranging from helping quantify the impact of our organization’s global efforts, to building the company’s primary public-facing communications websites. We’re looking for a highly motivated Technical Program Manager to help shape the vision and future. A successful candidate in this role is a builder with good working knowledge of Salesforce, data, and AWS technologies. You are comfortable working with stakeholders of all levels and technical abilities to create products and services that raise the bar for customers while being incredibly simple to access and easy to understand. You will obsess over driving teamwide projects and creating mechanisms for accelerating engagement with internal customers. You are an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, have demonstrated the ability to earn the trust of stakeholders across a cross-functional team of individuals, are data-driven, and have experience managing complex business and technical challenges. You are customer obsessed and not afraid to get your hands dirty navigating requirements from different business teams. You have a strong bias toward data-driven decision making, and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and with each other. You are proactive in removing roadblocks, and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be a positive influencer across diverse teams, be able to rally support for your initiatives and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your goals. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience leading large, ambiguous projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role. Key job responsibilities • Own and manage complex technical projects across multiple engineering teams, with a focus on Salesforce implementation and AWS infrastructure • Partner with technical managers to secure resources, scope engineering efforts, and drive delivery timelines • Create and execute programs designed to accelerate customer product adoption • Define and document technical requirements, working closely with engineering teams • Manage cross-team initiatives involving UX updates and product integrations • Drive detailed business and technical discussions to achieve alignment across teams • Create and maintain program documentation including technical specifications, project plans, and status reports • Identify and mitigate risks, remove blockers, and manage dependencies across teams • Optimize cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery • Mentor other TPMs and contribute to the technical program management community A day in the life As a TPM II in CCR Tech, you'll lead sprint planning across three verticals: Data, Tools, and Salesforce. Your day involves managing the strategic roadmap for Tools and Salesforce platforms while meeting with internal customers to gather requirements and provide project updates. You'll perform light Salesforce administrative tasks and coordinate with engineers on complex customizations. Balancing immediate customer needs with long-term platform stability is key, requiring thoughtful prioritization decisions. Working at the intersection of technical program management and platform ownership, you'll ensure our solutions effectively support Amazon's Communications & Corporate Responsibility team operations. About the team You'll be joining a highly technical team within a primarily non-technical organization, working across three distinct verticals: Data, Tools, and Salesforce. Built from scratch since 2022, we've established a strong foundation in program management excellence while maintaining a balanced approach to delivery that prioritizes sustainable work practices over constant fire drills. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
