CDE Cost & Progress Manager

Candidates will join the PMO Service Business Control Team, responsible for maintaining Nokia Americas' and Global Services' Business Control framework to ensure proactive analysis and control of project progress.

The role focuses on providing financial visibility into project Revenue and Cost performance.

Key stakeholders include the Project Team managing deployment activities, the Project Management Office, and Regional Delivery Finance and Control teams.
 

Educational Background: 

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or extensive relevant experience in Project Cost Control, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting.

Professional Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in project cost control, financial reporting, and budgeting, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.

Industry Knowledge: 

Familiarity with Nokia’s Cost Management Framework and strategies for managing costs is highly desirable.

Project Management Experience: 

Proven ability to lead and oversee projects successfully in complex and dynamic environments.

Technical Proficiency: 

Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), as well as experience with automation tools and reporting systems.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to support international project timelines, including late-night shifts (e.g., 7 PM to 3 AM).


 

Financial Oversight & Cost Management: 

Proactively manage project progress and financial performance across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, milestones, and customer contracts. Maintain strict adherence to Services Cost Management guidelines and tools, promoting cost and revenue transparency.

Collaboration & Support: 

Partner with the Project Team and Customer Delivery Manager to deliver end-to-end cost and revenue management. Provide support in estimating, monitoring, and analyzing project execution progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and invoicing schedules.

Comprehensive Reporting & Analysis: 

Establish efficient reporting frameworks for As Sold Base Line (ASBL), Cost Baseline (CBL), and Estimate at Completion (EAC) costs, ensuring visibility into committed and actual expenditures. Generate detailed cost and revenue reports for Mobile Networks (MN), offering actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Process & Compliance Management: 

Oversee and ensure compliance with critical end-to-end processes, including CPO/SPO/BBR and Goods Receipt (GR) workflows. Maintain regional visibility of risk contingencies, Non-Conformance Costs (NCC), and sellable additional works.

Flexible Support for Operations: 

Provide late-night coverage (7 PM to 3 AM) to support North America (NAM) operations and ensure timely project deliverables.
