As a Retail Project Lead, you will play a key role in rolling out Retail tools initiatives such as CEGID in EMEA and streamline our operational processes, enabling us to deliver a seamless and unforgettable client experience to our discerning clientele. The implementation of these retail tools will boost sales performance and elevate the client experience of our stores across Europe and Middle East.
Your Mission:
You will be a driving force behind both strategic projects and operational excellence within our EMEA Retail Operations and Performance. This dual focus will require a unique blend of project management expertise and a deep understanding of luxury Retail Operations.You will be the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all Retail Systems in the EMEA region, including CEGID, JDE and Retail Foundation systems.
The ability to travel to the different countries for implementation is a must.
Your principal missions will be as follow :
Project Management: CEGID Roll-out (50%)
Spearhead the successful implementation of the CEGID retail management system across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global objectives and timelines. Lead and manage this key strategic project within the EMEA retail portfolio, driving innovation and operational efficiency. Project Ownership: Assume complete accountability for the delivery of assigned projects across all markets and disciplines. Collaboration Champion: Foster seamless collaboration between diverse stakeholders, including Business Functional teams, IT, Global Business Process Owners, and System Integrators. Business Model & Process Design: Act as a decisive leader in shaping the business model and process design changes within project scopes. Skillfully align process and operational trade-offs with Functional teams, keeping projects on track. Deliverable Excellence: Ensure the quality and consistency of key project deliverables, including process flows, requirements, user test plans/scripts, training plans, and documentation. Risk Management & Escalation: Serve as the escalation point for assigned projects, proactively resolving risk, business resource, and priority constraints. Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise executive communications for leadership, keeping them informed of project progress and key decisions.Excellence in Retail Operations & Performance:
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize retail operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the client experience. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and measure the success of implemented initiatives. Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and support to Regional Retail Teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Systems Training & Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for EMEA retail teams on both CEGID, JDE and Retail Foundation (inventory management, reporting) systems. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system utilization and adoption. Minimum 5 years experience in retail project management Business school or Engineer school master Degree Proven Project Management & Operational Expertise: You possess a strong track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving operational excellence within a luxury retail environment. Technology Acumen: Experience with retail management systems (ideally CEGID) and a strong understanding of retail technology trends are highly desirable. Retail Acumen: You have a deep understanding of luxury retail operations, including sales, inventory management, customer service, and back-office processes. Exceptional Communication Skills: You are a confident communicator with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior executives. Collaboration & Influence: You are a natural collaborator with a proven ability to influence and build consensus across cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making sound decisions under pressure. Adaptability & Flexibility: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are highly advantageous.
