The mission of this is to operate tractor trailer rigs efficiently and safely to transport finished goods, frozen products, seeds, recycled plastics, and other materials to designated facilities while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.  Outcomes + Self-starter, must be able to work with limited supervision + High integrity and work ethic, positive attitude + Detail oriented with exceptional focus on accurate completion of paperwork. + Good communication skills + Flexibility to work day or swing shifts as required + Safely operate tractor trailer rigs to transport finished goods, frozen products, and seeds between the main farm, Hwy 20 facility, and cold storage locations. + Conduct regular recycled plastic runs to Portland as scheduled. + Perform pre-checks daily on assigned trucks and trailers to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition. + Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed immediately to the supervisor. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. + Assist with dock operations, including forklift operation, loading/unloading of goods, and general cleaning when transfer runs are not scheduled. + Complete all required paperwork accurately, including load sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance logs. + Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff, clients, and vendors. + Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies while operating vehicles and equipment. + This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company. This responsibility extends over all shifts.
