CDL Class B InSite Driver

This team member is responsible for the safe and successful execution of jobs across all service lines and various other responsibilities. The **Class B CDL InSite Driver** serves as a representative of **HPC-Industrial** in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. **Transitioning Military** , this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life. *****MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION***** *****GREAT PAY & BENEFITS***** **This is a Union position** **Experience in operating roll-offs is a plus & Tanker endorsements a plus!** **Why work for HPC-Industrial?** + Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! + Competitive wages + Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment + Group 401K with company matching component + Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career + Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement + Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES + Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions. + Hands-on operation, when required, of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment. + Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High Pressure pumps. + Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job. + May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications. + Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job. + Perform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders. + Direct a crew of vacuum technicians. + Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations. + Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements. + Loading and unloading hoses. + Unload vacuum truck at the dump site. + Provide general maintenance in the field. + Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS + See, read, distinguish and understand signs in the work area. + Hear and distinguish emergency signals while on duty. + Execute a 180-degree rotary motion of the cervical spine in order to allow complete movement of the head and neck. + Must be able to extend arms above head. + Frequently bend at waist, stoop and squat, kneel, reach and crawl. + Must be able to hold and operate with both hands a double trigger hydroblast shotgun and other hydroblast equipment. + Lift and maintain a minimum of 40lbs. + Tolerate being wet from head to toe for an unlimited amount of time. + Climb ladders and work from scaffolding and stationary platforms up to heights of 200 feet. + Tolerate and function in confined spaces of a minimum of five (5) foot inside diameter. + Hold the back thrust of 50lbs. on a straight 66” pipe for a minimum of one (1) hour. + Must be capable of working up to 16 hours per shift. + Must be physically capable of using both negative pressure and air supplied respirators. + Duties include driving heavy equipment for long periods. + Must be able to wear protective clothing and/or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, nomex coveralls, a back belt, slickers, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack, and a hard hat. + Work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+degree Fahrenheit, 98% humidity; and sub-zero weather conditions) relative to geographic location. + Exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.
