These crews are responsible for going into residential and commercial areas working on underground utilities and working with their crew to complete tasks for the day.

Assists crew leader in construction, reconstruction and maintenance work Assists equipment operators by swamping, hand digging and locating underground obstructions Works with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other industry tools Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials Works safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck Cleans and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Maintains paperwork during the day including DVIR and driver’s log book Ensures the truck has current licenses, tags, permits, and proof of insuranceSuccess Factors:

Class A CDL is required for this position Approximately 1 year of experience in a laboring position in the utilities field. High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAdditional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.Notes:
