What You'll Do

The continuous development of our consultants and non-consultants (Business Service Team) is a top priority at BCG. As an innovation-driven and strategic CE Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our Learning & Development (L&D) strategy with a strong focus on digital learning, innovative methodologies, and impact-driven outcomes.

 

In this role, your primary task will be the design, development, and execution of cutting-edge training programs for Central Europe or EMESA L&D. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of learning solutions, covering core consulting skills, digital ways of working, emerging technologies, and innovative training formats such as microlearning, social learning, gamification, and AI-powered adaptive learning.

 

Furthermore, you will drive the Employee Value Proposition by ensuring that L&D initiatives are aligned with talent development strategies and are measurable in terms of impact and business outcomes. You will design concepts in close coordination with the HR agenda, regional and global learning journeys, and BCG’s broader innovation initiatives.

 

To ensure quality and relevance, you will be responsible for monitoring learning effectiveness through data-driven assessments, learner engagement analytics, and post-training feedback loops. You will continuously optimize and enhance learning solutions by incorporating best practices in behavioral science, adult learning theory, and digital transformation.

 

With your strong stakeholder management skills, you will lead discussions with internal trainers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure training programs are aligned with BCG’s business objectives and evolving industry needs.



What You'll Bring

3-5 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, preferably in an international corporate environment or consultancy.Consulting experience is advantageous.Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Work Psychology, Educational Science, Business, or related fields.Proven experience in training design & instructional strategy, with a focus on digital learning, AI-enhanced training, and immersive learning techniques (VR/AR, gamification, social learning).Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional L&D initiatives at a regional or global scale.Expertise in learning data analytics and impact measurement, including experience using LMS, LXP, or AI-powered learning tools.Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools to create compelling reports and insights.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Who You'll Work With

You will work in a highly motivated team of in total 15 L&D professionals and a direct team of four event coordinators. Our teamwork is characterized by helpfulness, mutual respect, and trust. In addition, you will be in close exchange with the European and global Learning & Development teams as well as the local HR teams. Through the various interfaces, you will gain interesting insights into all Learning & Development and HR areas. You will report to the Central Europe Learning & Development Director.
