**CEE MEDICAL LEAD - OPELLA/SANOFI - POLAND - HYBRID**

**JOB PURPOSE**
CEE Medical Lead drives and coordinates brand-relevant medical activities within the Zone. This includes setting up and championing a Medical Strategic Plan, managing engagements with healthcare professionals (HCPs), defining brands’ uniqueness and scientific superiority, and delivering evidence to bring simple science to life and make the communication simple, clear, and memorable for HCPs and consumers.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Medical Strategy & Leadership:**
◦ Lead the development and implementation of the Medical Strategic Plan (brand relevant) within the zone to ensure alignment with overall brand objectives.
◦ Define and articulate the unique scientific and medical positioning of the brand, ensuring clarity around its therapeutic benefits, value propositions, and competitive advantages.
**KOL-management & Scientific events** **:**
◦ Manage and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive scientific exchange and brand advocacy.
◦ Oversee medical education activities, ensuring they are in line with the latest clinical data and therapeutic trends.
◦ Ensure effective scientific visibility at national and international medical events, including conferences, advisory boards, symposia, and webinars
**Evidence Generation & Communication:**
◦ Drive the generation of scientific evidence to support brand claims and enhance brand differentiation, including clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world evidence.
◦ Ensure the delivery of scientific data and evidence in a manner that is compelling and scientifically accurate, to both internal teams and external stakeholders (through peer-reviewed publications, medical congresses, and other channels).
**Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:**
◦ Ensure all promotional and non-promotional activities are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
◦ Provide accurate and timely responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** Advanced degree in a medical/pharm/life science discipline
**Experience:**
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical affairs, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
Strong background in medical strategy development and execution.
Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and cross-functional teams.
**Skills & Competencies** :
Strong understanding of the therapeutic area and clinical landscape relevant to the brand(s), including regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in medical communications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Strong leadership, agility and adaptivity, decision-making and influencing skills
Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data.
Fluent in Polish
Fluent in English
**Working Environment:**
• This role may require travel to medical events, conferences, and meetings with HCPs, both nationally and internationally.
• The Medical Zone Lead will work in close partnership with various internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
