Be our next CEI Project Manager for Coral Gables, FL
Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently searching for a CEI Project Manager for our Coral Gables, FL office. This individual will be responsible for project management of Local Government and FDOT LAP contract administration of assigned projects.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
· Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.
· Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
· Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors
· Notify contractor of non-compliance and corrective action.
· Track project progress and advises parties of possible overruns, and critical project issue
· Analyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutions
· Coordinate administrative aspects of projects including; contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash management
· Review plans for constructability and biddability
· Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Promote positive relations with contracts, vendors and consultants
· Assist in the development of RFP’s or tasks
· Participate in the development of new project proposals
· Assist in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials
What your experience looks like
· Ten (10) years of responsible and related construction of engineering experience, five (5) years of which involved construction of major road or bridge structures
· CTQP Certifications (Concrete, Asphalt, Earthwork)
· Temporary Traffic Control (MOT) Advanced Certification
