Early Childhood Teacher Butler Center for Early Learning The University of Mary is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for the new Butler Center for Early Learning in downtown Bismarck. This is a full-time, 10-month position. The Butler Center for Early Learning (https://www.umary.edu/about/campus-facilities-locations/satellite-locations/butler-center-early-learning) (CEL) is a licensed childcare and preschool and is scheduled to open June 1, 2025. The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for the care and education of children at the preschool-kindergarten level.  The Early Childhood Teacher will provide a safe and engaging learning environment, will provide appropriate supervision at all times, will monitor student progress, and will communicate with parents in a positive and supportive manner.  The Early Childhood Teacher may be required to complete other duties as assigned.  Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Knowledge and Skills Required: + Ability to plan engaging and educational activities, using the Montessori Method and materials as a foundation. + Ability to adapt to children’s learning styles. + Ability to patiently work with young children in their social-emotional development. + Ability to communicate effectively with parents and coworkers. + Provide proper supervision to children at all times. + Understanding and ability to comply with N.D. Department of Health and Human Services childcare and preschool licensing rules. + Ability to clean and sanitize the environment as needed.
