What You Will Do

Oversee, develop, and optimize repair processes for Mechanical / Chemical Cleaning, NDT, plasma spray, paint shop, Machining and sheet metal repair within the MRO Engine Shop, ensuring alignment with operational and quality standards.

Provide technical expertise in repair machines and equipment, including TIG welding systems and plasma spray technologies, to drive efficiency and innovation.

Collaborate with the Facility department to monitor and enhance the performance of key repair equipment, such as Miller Syncrowave TIG welding machines, Praxair 3620 plasma spray systems, and conventional machines.

Partner with Engineering to provide technical guidance on plasma coupon test evaluations, bench repair methods, and welding specifications, ensuring compliance with repair standards.

Achieve operational objectives, including Turnaround Time (TAT), On-time Delivery (OTD), productivity, quality, and financial targets, through effective planning and execution.

Lead Smart Factory initiatives to drive digital transformation, enhance processes, and improve operational performance within the repair cell.

Communicate effectively with shop floor employees, fostering leadership development, providing performance feedback, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments—Engineering, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, HR, and Materials—to align on goals and achieve company objectives.

Participate in audits and inspections to uphold compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Drive productivity improvements by leading CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects focused on reducing costs, improving quality, and minimizing cycle time.

Support and promote EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety) programs, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace environment.

Provide on-site support during weekends or nightshift as needed to meet production demands and address critical requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or relevant engineering qualifications.

2 years of relevant Aerospace MRO experience in operations, production, or manufacturing with a focus on repair engineering.

Good people management skill to manage and motivate a team to achieve business goals.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications We Prefer

Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.

Possess high level of integrity and accountability with a strong drive towards Quality.

Repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset

Knowledge of aircraft engine workshop practices and/or engine MRO is a plus.
