The Center for Regenerative Sciences - Faculty Position

The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, School of Dentistry, is seeking individuals interested full-time tenure track/tenured faculty position of open rank  (Assistant, Associate or Professor level) to join the newly established Center for Regenerative Sciences.

Applicants must have a Ph.D., or DDS/Ph.D. degree in the field of regenerative science, a strong publication record in regenerative sciences, experience working in interdisciplinary and highly collaborative professional environments, and have an independent NIH-funded research program that will complement the center. The candidate will be expected to actively collaborate with existing faculty members, staff, and students at the Center/University, and be able to participate  in multidisciplinary teams to translate research findings into clinical applications. This individual will contribute to the mission of the School and will participate in teaching, and clinical practice if applicable, and function as an active member of the School of Dentistry and The University of Texas Health Science Center.

The successful candidate will enjoy access to several Centers, including an NCI-designated Mays/M D Anderson Cancer Center, NIH -funded Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging, NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Research Center, NCAT-funded CTSA, and others along with a modern animal facility, a flow cytometry and cell sorter facility, genomics/bioinformatics, an optical imaging microscopy facility,  proteomics/mass spectrometry, drug development, and other state of the art core facilities.
