Central Clinical Educator
The Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) Nursing Education seeks a Central Clinical Educator (CCE) to join our team. The Central Clinical Educator is responsible for delivering effective and managing central education-related tasks. This includes managing mandatory education, nursing orientation at the hospital-wide level, non-unit-specific education opportunities, and nursing-related systems such as glucometers. As the CCE, you will play a pivotal role as a hands-on clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff. **What you’ll do day to day:** + **Educational Leadership:** Collaborate with Unit Educators to create and maintain an organized educational framework for nurses and licensed assistants, ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements and needs assessments. + **Mandatory Education Management:** Oversee compliance with hospital and discipline-specific educational requirements, coordinate Just In Time education, and manage annual competency assessments and training records. Act as the RQI Administrator. + **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain organized education reports, provide necessary documentation for education contact hours, and manage archiving of educational records, including participation in relevant meetings. + **Program Coordination:** Coordinate nursing orientation and residency programs and oversee the glucometer system and preceptor program to enhance staff training and performance improvement initiatives.
