What You Will Do:
The Denials Patient Account Representative will manage, update and prepare a variety of reports for leadership. Subject Matter Experts will assist with providing/finding solutions and account guidance for multiple payers. They will assist supervisors and managers as needed with various projects and review and resolve denials. They will submit facility and non-clinical appeals and facilitate resolution by referring the matter to the appropriate subject matter expert. They will escalate matters to supervisors and request the appropriate information or take action so that the issue can be effectively resolved. They will also do the following:
Resubmit Corrected Claims and supporting documentation as need for the patient experience.
Communicate with other organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts.
Communicates issues to management timely and performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisors.
Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
What You Will Need:
HS Diploma or equivalent
1 - 3 years related or general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Professional client engagement experience
Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts.
Effective and efficient problem solving and analyzing skills.
