Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesOverall responsibilities and duties:
• Develop and maintain the Design Quality handbook and further standards within Design Quality.
• Identify and streamline topics in the context of Design Quality on a Business Group level for the company.
• Support the creation and maintenance of guidelines for Design Quality, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security.
• Align necessary adjustments on our processes and ensure their implementation in alignment with our Tools & Process team (e.g., related to Automotive SPICE 4).
• Collaborate with global (on BG level) and local teams (in the Divisions) to implement process improvements.
• Provide expert guidance on safety, security, and ASPICE standards, but also more general quality driven approaches.
• Support the resolution of quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives for example based on FMEAs, 5Why or Ishikawa
• Conduct technical reviews, audits, and assessments in projects and with suppliers.
• Coordinate external assessments and audits.
The main missions of the role are:
• Support on standardization topics for Design Quality on a global level
• Identify global process improvement opportunities and streamline activities with focus on Design Quality.
• Provide expert guidance on safety, security, and ASPICE standards.
• Conduct and manage internal and external assessments and audits.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in an engineering-related field (System, Software, Hardware, or similar).
• Extensive knowledge of safety, security, and ASPICE standards.
• Strong background in the automotive industry.
• Ability to lead and execute audits/assessments.
• Experience in providing guidance and support for compliance.
• Proficiency in identifying process weaknesses and developing improvement strategies.
Experience:
• Proven experience in the automotive industry (at least 5 years).
• Experience in process assessment, audits, and capability determination.
• Experience in providing guidance and support for safety, security, and ASPICE compliance.
• Experience in quality-driven approaches, like FMEA; FTA, 5Why and Ishikawa
Skills and Competencies:
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong team player in an international environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Confident in driving escalations, but in a collaborative and solution-oriented way.
• Experienced in implementing practical and sustainable solutions.
