The Central Logistics Coordinator partners with field teams to plan, reschedule, and optimize weekly service delivery plans. Logistics Coordinators use routing software and geography-based scheduling templates to find route solutions, while working in a complex and dynamic operations environment.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
· Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
· Coordinate efficient routing; directing field operations to properly load and ship in the most cost-effective manner
· Adapt routes to accommodate service disruptions
· Structure and maintain relationships with internal and external vendors
· Evaluate and ensure all field operations have transportation needs and rates aligned
· Participate in region and district meetings as the rail representative
· Daily communication with field operations, interdepartmental staff and external customers and vendors
· Gains high level understanding of all systems and routing software
· Responsible for obtaining subcontracted transportation rates for all business units within Clean Harbors.
· Able to communicate rates and schedules in timely fashion to requestor.
· Performs other duties and tasks to meet Clean Harbors’ business needs
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
· Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred but not required
· Experience with route planning and order management preferred but not required
· Adaptability in a complex operations environment
· Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
· Efficient time management skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software. (Primarily Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Detailed oriented and achievement driven
· Committed and dependable
