The Central Merchant team oversees, shapes, and grows the merchant business in Grab Singapore.

Get to Know the Role

This Sales Executive role is specifically to acquire merchant partners for the OmniCommerce business. OmniCommerce is Grab's new umbrella of services, supporting restaurants' physical stores. Our goal is to help restaurants on our platform drive sustainable growth by becoming their demand generation engine both offline and online, with a full suite of solutions - content & discovery, reservations, table management & ordering solutions, deals, loyalty, insights & CRM, payments, ads.

This role will report onsite in Grab Singapore office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Acquire and develop sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including but not limited to, referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetingsDiligently follow up and close sales opportunitiesBuild a lasting relationship with restaurant decision makers to maintain the possibility of future salesConsult and recommend our products and services to restaurant decision makers while communicating the value of joining the Grab networkCollate press materials to ensure that a restaurant is ready to go live on the various Grab distribution channelsWork closely with the Operations and Marketing team to facilitate successful product adoption and partnerships by new clientsSpearhead sales projects and initiate tactical strategies to improve team efficiency and capabilities, and drive incremental sales output

 

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

You have at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly products or servicesExperience in direct selling products or services
