Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Central Monitor Technician to join our team!
The Central Monitor Technician has knowledge of and is accountable for the operation of the arrhythmia analysis computer in the central monitor station under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Central Monitor Technician performs those tasks for which they have been trained and have demonstrated competency as defined by this job description
HOURS: Supplemental or .1 FTE; 8 hours bi-weekly; Varied Shifts
Experience/Qualifications:
The Central Monitor Technician always functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Identifies opportunities to improve patient experience. Participates in projects/programs designed to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.Identifies opportunities to improve the Environment of Care, and patient and staff safety. Participates in projects and programs designed to create a safe environment to avoid error.Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety. Participates in projects/programs designed to reduce errors and improve safety.Verbally communicates observations and changes to supervising registered nurse.Ensures a positive working environment within the patient care team and organization.Attends department meetings and in-services.Use of all communication systems and devices i.e. Vocera
