This position exists to supervise Central Office site services and operations. These programs have broad scope, defined procedures, and must follow state and federal regulations, rules and statutes. Some of these responsibilities require client confidentiality and access to restricted information sources, including performing as the Central Office Site Security Officer and centralized building security management and reporting for report to work locations statewide. As the Central Office Site Coordinator, the incumbent has broad overall responsibilities for the management, planning, coordinating building operations; building safety; communications, space planning, building security, mail, shipping and receiving, attending to visitors and the purchases of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The incumbent in this position is responsible to: + Administer and supervise the work performed under the terms of the lease agreement and to oversee building related work that is the DNR's responsibility. + Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure a coordinated workload for the repair, remodeling and maintenance of buildings and facilities at the Central Office. + Provide recommendations related to policies and procedural improvements and at times will work after hours to address emergency concerns. + Perform all job responsibilities in a manner that supports a healthy, safe, and productive and inclusive work environment for all employees. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in building construction, real estate management, general management/administration or a related field and one (1) year professional facilities and/or physical security management experience or experience with contract administration. OR + Three (3) years advanced professional experience that demonstrates leadership in facilities and/or physical security management, contract administration on an owned or leased building with a property management company, coordination of vendor schedules, etc. + One (1) year of supervisory or two (2) years lead worker experience to direct staff and meet program objectives in a related field exemplifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively hire, lead, motivate, develop, foster teamwork, assign work, evaluate, discipline, reward, train, and manage direct reports. + Experience with three or more of the following: property management, lease management, space planning, project administration, safety, contract procedures, and supervisory techniques. + Experience managing resources including budget, physical assets and human resources. + Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple work demands, organize tasks, administer multiple projects in a timely manner, and adjust to changing situations. + Purchasing experience related to purchase orders, obtaining quotes, ensuring that contractors complete work as specified and payment submission. + Customer focused and action oriented. + Must have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel along with managing a database to produce reports and information for database analysis. + Strong written and oral communication skills in order to communicate with diverse clientele. **Preferred Qualifications** + Two (2) year's supervisory experience in a related field. + Experience with project management, including planning and executing the work of a team to achieve specified goals. + Bachelor's degree as noted above. + Two (2) year's professional experience managing a large (200+ FTE's) complex facility. + Project Management Certification. + CPR and First Aid Certification. + Working knowledge of Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health. **Additional Requirements** No driving duties are required.
