Central Planning Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Central Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the financial budgeting and forecasting processes across various business units within Fluke Health Solutions. This role is also responsible for the financial reporting process upward to Fortive.  This individual contributor role will support the CFO as well as Company leadership and requires a strong background in financial modeling, budget management, forecasting, and reporting. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective alignment of financial targets and business objectives.  This is a great opportunity to gain experience in companywide financial management, consolidations and reporting.  This position would provide a valuable development opportunity to someone eager to grow in their Finance career.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, aligning them with business goals. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial targets are met across central operations. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and KPIs, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments like Operations, Sales, and R&D to align financial plans with business objectives. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial planning and reporting processes. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide timely financial analysis and reporting for strategic decision-making. Direct Business Partner: Lead business partner to G&A functions in which the focus will be on budget creation, forecast management, expense variance analysis and project analysis.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 5+ years of financial planning experience, preferably in medical devices. Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream). Analytical Abilities: Strong capability to analyze complex data and provide clear insights for decision-making. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and recommend solutions. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cost structures, financial regulations, and industry challenges in the medical device sector.
