Central Program Manager (Remote)

The Central Program Manager (CPM) serves as the business and relationship owner for a portfolio of tactical customer accounts. This role focuses on providing consultative and strategic program guidance to clients via virtual channels, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and program performance.

 

As a Central Program Manager, you will  

Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships within client organizations, becoming their trusted partner for travel-related matters through virtual communication channels. Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' business strategies, goals, and challenges to recommend and implement tailored travel program solutions. Monitor and respond to strategic changes within the client organization, aligning travel program strategies to support evolving needs. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and monitor account performance, incorporating an understanding of economic and industry trends. Identify account risks proactively and lead client retention efforts aligned with regional and global strategies. Drive account profitability by capitalizing on upselling opportunities, pricing adjustments, and the introduction of relevant technologies. Conduct quarterly (or ad-hoc) business reviews virtually, covering key performance indicators such as email/telephony SLA metrics, Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and operational updates while recommending actionable improvements. Facilitate virtual travel forums to address client objectives, covering topics such as program specifics, technologies, and service quality improvements. Collaborate with internal teams—including Operations, Technology, and Finance—to meet and exceed client expectations. Participate in ad-hoc projects and undertake responsibilities based on business needs.

 

About you  

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably within an account management or sales role.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels comfortably. Accustomed with analysing, interpreting, and presenting large data sets. Commercially aware, resilient, and tenacious personality who thrives working independently or within a close-knit team.  Exposure in travel, airline and hotel industry would be advantageous but not essential.
