Central Scheduler
Community Health Systems
Leads the work of others. Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments. Triages phone calls as necessary. Conducts patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 1 year of healthcare related experience. Previous medical scheduling preferred.
